1/43 race figures?

Does anyone know where I can buy generic 1/43 race figures or officials? I know there are a few 1/18 and 1/24 race figures sets. I am looking for 1/43 pit crew or race officials to build some dioramas and give them additional realism?

I believe there are 1/43 F1 pit crew sets?

Hello,

The same question has been asked in the past on this forum. I tried to find the thread, but was unsuccessful.

http://p080.ezboard.com/bautobarnmotorsports

The members on that forum are very helpful and knowledgeable. I am confident that they will readily respond with links to websites selling 1/43 figures, so you may wish to log on and ask.

You will of couse be aware of the Minichamps pit crew sets they currently issue.

Thanks for the response, but 60 GBP for a pitcrew of just 3 is pretty ridiculous!! And they're F1 ones too. Too bad they don't have any non descript crew for half that cost! Though I now know what I'm going to do if I win the lottery.

Yes, I thought you might find PMA's issues 'somewhat' pricy. There must be a demand because they release versions from several teams. There are other manufacturers that produce figures etc. from other genres of motorsport, hence the link to the forum.

Try Grand Prix Models, they do a good range of 1/43rd models and kits:-

I can't remember what scale they are, but Tamiya might do some.

Tamiya are generally 1/20th and 1/24th for race car drivers and mechanics. I don't know what scale other (military) figures are?

These prices are somewhat more reasonable, but then I have to paint them myself. It's good and bad. Thanks for the site though. I found Schuco also produces a few 1/43 scale garage crew and diarama.

Look for Denizen figures 1/43

..For 1/43 figures, they call it "O' Gauge, try "Denizen figures" for one...

I have used both Denizen, who have a website and Omen who are based in Horsham, Sussex. The address eludes me at the moment but I could find it I think if you want it. Both do some great figures.

The picture shows 3, the description says it contains 15 crew.
