FRC 2013 - ALMS Round 4: Lime Rock
I am throwing this one up early because I will be busy the next few weeks and I don't want to forget about it! Lime Rock is a very unique track. It is short and space is at a premium for the cars on track. Qualifying begins at 16:35 on Friday July 5th, so get your entries in then.

Just realized....this round is coming up fast....the weekend after next. I hope it's dry and cool. Anybody remember the absolute torture of the 2010 race ? It was heat-stroke weather...literally. I know I got spaghetti-legs in the first hour and then 'adjusted' to it...

Looking forward to the race, this will be my third time to the track...but hopefully it will not be as hot as last year's edition. Holy smokes!!! it felt like an oven even in the early stages of race day, just by standing around I was sweating like a pig! Such a damn shame that Rebellion decided to end their ALMS program until Petit, I was so looking forward to seeing their car at the track!
This time around I will be bringing my High Definition video camera. I plan on making a fan's perspective video by taking as much footage as possible on race day, Saturday....keep a sharp eye out for it. I will post it on this forum once finished. I actually did a video last year which you can see here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy7vwLgnpzM As for my picks. LRP weather......for those who'll be in attendance......in the north-east we've been mired in this miserable pattern of very humid weather with brief afternoon T-storms (some rather violent)....it appears that this will continue all week and weekend with temps around 85-ish. But not to worry....there's been a lot of sun in this pattern and no all-day soakers. But I can easily see the need for rain tires at any given time during the round on Sat. Might be one of those back and forth deals.......slicks, rains, back to slicks.....you get the idea.

Had it not been for a hellish Friday morning (into Fri afternoon) you had PC nailed. It was easier to make a parts list of what wasn't bent...

Round Results
Congrats to isynge and joeb for being the co-round winners. TheDude was nearly the round winner, but his qualifying picks came in late. GT picks were tough for everyone, nobody picked the GT or GTC pole sitters. Ony one person (TheDude) scored race points for GT and nobody got GTC race points. Let me know if you see any errors in your results.
