I'll have my camera with me but I can't promise to get any decent pictures (I'm not exactly up to 'pro' standards ). If I do get any half sensible shots of your car you're more than welcome to have a copy.

Yeah we were playing with gunk trying to patch up the diffcasing in the lunchbreak. YOu should have come for a chat mate!! Make sure you do next time!

Yeah the van battery was flat as flat. haha. Was a schoolboy error, left the fridge plugged in all day, forgot to switch it to the mains. Jump started it fine and only took 6 3/4 hours to get home. Was in bed for 1.30am. Not too bad.

Hope you all had a good day, I did.

I'll be in touch with folks about pics.

Hal

Evening gents,
only just got back to work today(the source of my internet connection) and I have to say I was totally blown away by the whole day. The cars and the standard of driving were magnificent. I have never seen cars accelerate like that before, on top of everything else it seemed like a photographers paradise. I think I took nearly 400 pictures and I was shooting in RAW! I got a few of you I think HR Racing (was it a blue 205?) I also took a few of the Green Saxo because I didn't know if it was the GreenSaxo from on here is it??? anyway I will work on them over the next couple of days to clean them up a bit and to reduce the file size so PM me if your interested and maybe I can fire some across to you.
Cheers
Paul

The best-kept secret in motor racing.

So, can we tempt you back for more of the same on August Bank Holiday Monday?

Hello Gnomex
I will be back on the bank holiday without a shadow of a doubt! You certainly have a convert to rally cross. I might even pluck up the courage to come and say hello to some drivers next time, they all look really busy and I cant blame them with the amount of racing that goes on. To get to the end of the day must take a Herculean effort most times I imagine, and the last thing you need is a tongue tied shy bloke with a camera trying to make small talk!
As for the Tuscan Rally cross car, if someone can do it to an exige or TT then who knows what cars are around the corner? If I won the lottery I would give it a go!

So now to find people taking pictures at Pembrey, that will be harder.

Anyway, there always seems to be loads fo photographers at meetings, esp at Lydden and Croft, but you rarley see many published photos from the event. I dont mean fans with cameras, I mean signed on snappers standing on tyre walls and stuff!?!
