Really geeky question...
I was browsing a website and it suggested that, at the 1998 US 500 at Michigan, AAR's P. J. Jones ran a Toyota-engined Penske, rather than the Reynard his team-mate Alex Barron was using or the Eagle his replacement Vincenzo Sospiri would later use. Now, I'm assuming this is just a misprint, but does anyone know for sure?

Alex Barron finished 15th in a Toyota / Reynard,
PJ Jones finished 24th in a Toyota / Penske. http://www.cart.com/Results/SessionResults.asp?ID=74 |
