Only in so far as it was an anti-climax after Japan. But it was interesting to follow the developments from the 4th placing downwards and JV provided some pretty good entertainment.
Most fans watched the race from the slopes surrounding the circuit as watching it from the stands isn't so exciting -- all you see are colours speeding by. |

Welcome to Ten-Tenths, Shufiyan. Stick around! Did you watch the race at the circuit? I wish I could have been there. I don't think it was boring. Less interesting than Japan, I'll agree, but still quite an exciting race. It's a shame Mika fluffed the start - we could have had quite a battle. As Martin and Murray mentioned, it was quite a watershed for most teams. Drivers and engines coimg and going, and for Herbert, a whole new career ahead. A shame he had to end his F1 career in the wall. But congratulations to Michael and Ferrari for a job well done in 2000! |

I'm not really sure about the mid-section of the race, as I was on the phone to my mother. I had to refrain from swearing at TGF, which took some of the fun out of it. There was some good stuff going on a bit further down the field. Glad to hear Herbert's alright.
Never noticed the ickle pussy cat before. |

I fell asleep, although that may have been because I was watching it live during the middle of the night.

Yes, it was boring. Except for one or two things like Jacques outbraking himself, the cameraman identifying Heidfeld as Alesi, and M&M being at a loss for cheerleading because Mika was sent to the back of the queue and Button Spice did absolutely nothing and then blew up.
But now we have five months to talk it all over and look forward to a better year when Prost and Jordan and Minardi all have new engines and we all have to buy new gear. And next year Frenzy will win the WDC. |
