As far as i know Prancing Horse Racing canned the V8 program and sold the car to Cameron McLean

Politics and Money... even though they spent a truck load of cash on it, the car was, and still is a dog

The car was a dog ?
Was that the reason Noske Snr left the operation ? |

Nah, there were other, deeper reasons why he left...
By Cam McLean is having all sorts of dramas sorting it out- the front of the car is only spiritually connected to the back of the car, and it is an understeering pig. |

Prancing Horse were going to do lots of things this year including Supercar and F3 (they apparently had a pair of F301 Dallara's lined up at Xmas time)

The interesting thing about Prancing Horse Racing, sorry PHR Scudaria now, is about the new share holders. Maher Algadri is one, yet drives a Porsche in Nations Cup which Jim Richards prepares, and Peter Floyd runs a Holden in GT Performance, and is meant to be going to run a Monaro in Nations Cup isn't he.

bud racing
the bud racing falcon was a excellent car, the team had ex-hrt, djr guys and they were 16th fastest at bathurst in the 2nd practice session (lowndes was 15th)
it was all good, something within the organisation happened happened and they cancelled the program due to unkown reasons |

Could Ford have pulled support for the team maybe. Since the V8 program was crapped, they seem to have lost interest in the Mustang program as well.

I think thier expansion plans involved the considerably deep rear pockets of Mr. Noske Snr. and Mr. Warwick, both, I am led to believe, want nothing more to do with it.
I hope the guys who were working on that Mustang weren't on the V8 team. The phrase "couldn't find thier a*** in the dark with both hands" springs to mind. |

When will the giant 7 Litre Monaro's be on the grid. Talking of Floyd did you guys see him nail the lovely Subaru entering the hairpin at Symmons.

Missed the Symmons round unfortunatly. On the Monaro's, they reckon the first of them will be out about July, and that Tander might drive one of them run by GRM

Yeah, the chunky Mustang should only be a round or three away from hitting the track...
