Yes, some cracking entries, it'll sound amazing trackside, but I have to say I'm (personally) a little disappointed not to see an Aston Lola, a Peugeot 908 or the Toyota GT-One that featured in one of the ACO photos promoting this race on their website and was spotted out testing a couple of months or so ago.

Highlights for me will be seeing 'Shorty' having an outing in his Dallara and Manu Collard in the Porsche GT1.

That's a cracking looking entry (just looked) - Bentley Speed 8 and Porsche GT1 for the purists, Morgans and a Marcos for those that love the oddballs!

Probably the Group C cars were quite quick in the straight, maybe not so good round the corners

The quickest Group C cars in the last two runnings of the Le Mans Classic lapped in the mid 3:50 bracket, a competitive time for a GTE Am class car and a long way off the 3.19 laps of the Toyotas and Rebellion in last year's Le Mans 24 Hours.

In their heyday - with top drivers aboard the Bentley had a fastest race lap of 3:35, the Rollcentre Dallara about a 3:39 - albeit on marginally different track

I quoted the Group C lap times as Truckosaurus had asked what times Group C cars had set in the supporting races or Le Mans Classic races. In period the quickest Group C fastest lap (post 1989 circuit with chicanes on the Mulsanne) was set in the 1993 race by the fourth place Toyota with a time of 3:27.47.
