I'm putting the questions as if I'm addressing them directly.
Looking back on your reaction after the incident, what do you particularly put it down to? The famous "red mist", or frustration/pure annoyance after a long and ultimately unrewarded 700km stint? Clarification on the engine issues: Are you able to tell us if all three cars which succumbed to engine failure suffered the exact same issue? |

Presumably JH will have the same attitude as he did at Le Mans! Should be fun; "Anthony, why were you driving like a dick?". In fact that is my specific question
Fair play for AD for appearing on MWM. |

Another question relating to the incident: Having driven three very long stints during the race, how did you feel the grip levels evolving through the Porsche Curves and how do you think that the state of those grip levels at that point might have contributed to the Corvette's off?

Pity Doug Fehan couldn't be there as well.

I would love to hear about Peugouts approach to the race. It was plainly obvious that Bourdais was lying when he claimed they were going "flat out" at 3:25, but of course he could not hint an engine problem. Peugout tried to run the race "slow" just matching the Audis. When they had to, they could up the pace significantly.
Was the reason for starting at a reduced pace, to avoid engine problems? Could the lack of vacuum cleaning the intake ducts (which has featured prominently the last two years) be a contributing factor to the engine problems? |

Question for AD: Have you ever seen a bigger mountain made from such a small molehill?

Don't have a question, I'm just interested to hear his response to the incident.

We recorded the interview at Silverstone this afternoon, Ant was fantastic, candid, funny and also answered all the pertinant questions in a full, frank and very mature way.

That's excellent to hear, hopefully this will put the whole matter to bed.

I've closed this thread.
I don't think we need another in addition to the 'evil' thread. |
