2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore
The Grand Prix of Baltimore has a presenting sponsor: SRT. How about that?

What is SRT? I only remember this as a type of London bus in the 50s

There are SRT models of the Charger and Challenger and I think there is (or will be) an SRT Grand Cherokee (Jeep is a Chrysler brand). The Viper is also an SRT model. I would expect to see an SRT Dart in the future, as well. Since Fiat owns Chrysler, wouldn't an SRT Fiat 500 be a fun little roller skate? Anyone? |

It's still useful sponsorship money that will keep the event as a whole going. Looked totally rammed last year, spectator wise. I hope everyone is as enthusiastic about it this year!

Yeah, it's apparently been squeezed out by live Soccer, Tennis and Golf. Don't know if there is a red provision to allow for this. It's not on Sky F1 either - a bunch of Legends programs are on that.

So, when they announced that they would get rid of the silly chicane, i assumed that meant they had dealt with the bumps over the tram tracks.
No. Of course not. *sigh* Back to the mickey mouse chicane it is. Very fitting for the series. |

ALMS Racing @almsnotes
Our friend @BeauxBarfield just gave a track update. Going to try to grind down bump on frontstretch in lieu of chicane. #ALMS #GPoB |
