Legge returns to Formula Renault
Just read this news. Katherine Legge will drive for Motaworld at Snetterton and Donington. Taking Joey Foster's old car. He'll be driving for Team JVA.

Great news! can't wait to see her blow off Suzie Stoddart.Though Snetterton may be a bit boring for her after Vancouver,Trois Rivieres & Montreal?

Susie is a significantly quicker driver, and is in her 3rd full year of FRenault. Not a smart move by Katherine to go head to head with her.

in the context of the earlier comments, that sounds more like head to tail than head to head

I wish her the very best, but I think if a driver like Joey Foster can not make that car go then nobody will!!!

Their car is basically good, and so is the team. I think the only weakness with the car was that it was originally set up with a very stiff platform and a lot of negative camber - which made it great for circuits like Thruxton, and less great for the hairpins at Donington. It had mobility but sacrificed traction, so the way to get it to go quickly was to hang it out to dry everywhere.
There was a bit of a change last year, when the car was softened up in several ways, which suited Susie Stoddart, for example, but not Mike Spencer, and you could see how their relative seasons changed. Somehow, it just seems that they lack that final edge at the moment, but that brazilian lad peddled it quickly enough, and Joey Foster wasn't doing too badly, so maybe they just need a good 2nd year driver now to firm up their best setups? |

Brave move after her TV sacking from Formula Woman and her short trip to the moon at Rockingham.
No one can accuse the girl of giving up. |

I saw that and felt rather sorry for her. She wasn't the greatest teacher, it had to be admitted, but unfortunately her public sacking as an instructor would be likely to have the effect of reflecting on her abilities as a driver, which doesn't necessarily follow.

Katherine may have had Joey Foster's race number, but not his car! That was binned when he left the team because the tub was trashed, still didn't seem to make much diffrence to the way it went though. Pretty much everything else was changed too, shame they couldn't do that for him when it was obvious what the problem was.
