I never believed in Coincidences.....
Posted on another forum by OXO;
Hamilton qualified on pole with a time of 1:27.31 He won the race with a time of 1h 27m 31s His lead in the championship is 1+27+31 points I thought it was made up, but checked, and it's true !!! Well spotted OXO, whoever you are .. |

OMG. Last year after the Japanese Grand Prix (note this is the same GP as in the opening post
 ). Nico Rosberg was on pole 1m30.65 (he also drove a Mercedes ).The same (!) driver won with a race time of 1h26:43 (and I have 43 in my username and I rounded this to two decimal places as I did with the first fact ))The same (!) driver was leading the championship by 1+26+43-33 and 1+30+65-63 (this is the third fact and this is the third post in this thread ).Riddled with coincidences. Can I also be the first to mention Jerez 1997. |

It's a great coincidence that involves dropping the third digit after the decimal point, which is what we measure F1 times in.
 It's not a coincidence if you have to manipulate it into one.
