There - perhaps Les will stop nagging me now I have made my first post...... |

I would love to go but one's budget is already in overdraft territory. Enjoy it!

It's going to be weird - new track, new country - don't forget the passports.
And as for the racing - no B&Q, no JSM, no Paston racing,no Clios - who do I yell for????? pls remember - do not take any meat or dairy products and shop when you are there because everything is shut on Sunday!!! |

Fantastic meeting at Mondello. Me, WoodyTJ, Redshoes and Schoey drove over there. Long journey. Everyone was so friendly - including a our camper van buddy, Matt - smashing Irish fella who was very hospitable to us. Fergus, the PR blokey is a top man and made us very welcome. The Guiness is gorgeous out there - I nearly didn't come home! The crows waking us up at the campsite in 5am was NOT appreciated (going out there armed with shot gun next year). Racing was excellent on a very interesting track. Schoey survived camping very graciously. Well done Schoey! Various drunken phone calls from the Le Mans gang - very entertaining! Can't wait to hit the sack now and have a good night's sleep in my own bed

If anyone fancies racing around Mondello in the Irish Fiat series (Chris ?) we know a very nice man who's offered to provide us a car.

The offer was made by Motoring News' Irish correspondent, whose name I can't remember, but the car itself is owned by a very jolly bloke called Alan. Lorna has name / phone number if you are interested. Apparantly he's built/run half the cars in the Fiat series and a fair few in the UK Fulda Fiat series.

Fantastic weekend.
Mondello was great and the company wasn't bad either! The weekend by far out reached any expectations I had. My thanks go to Mondello and the irish who made us all very very welcome. I've still not stopped smiling |
