Rachel Richards should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ken Leigh Memorial HQ 4 Hr Enduro Winton 5 & 6 December.

A shame no one has kicked this off yet..... Here goes.

With close to 40 entries from 5 or 6 States this weekend see's the running of the HQ Four Hour Enduro.
Named after Former HQ president the Late Ken Leigh a man who put an enormous effort into making this particular event a success and developing HQ racing into a strong a flourishing race category.
The 4 Hour is run in two parts of two hours on the Saturday and two hours on the Sunday.
Points are awarded after each of the legs and the combination with the most points wins the Enduro.
There is a compulsory tyre change followed by a compulsory Driver change in each leg.

2 x 2 hours = 4 hours kind of like 2 x 250km makes a Clipsal 500

Great event when you consider a HQ isn't really designed for endurance racing but like all old Holdens you just cant kill the things s they keep going and going.

Yes they can run for 2 hrs on a full tank but only just. some cars do run out or splutter over the line.

Love the HQ's. But how do they keep the brakes alive in an event like that?

What else is running this weekend and what are entries like? Last year was quite a fun event, shame there wasn't any media releases or info released on it as we would have run a story on Tuesday night.

I would like to have done the Regularity, but too close to Xmas and too much money to spend to get it ready for the 24 hour at Easter next year.

Pretty good result considering the NO 8 car rolled twice in practice yesterday, those HQ's are tough old cars.
