Someone just might know?
Anyone know what silencers Simon Durling uses on his V8 Brabham by any chance?
They seem a bit noisey to me, but he keeps on racing, so must be OK. |

That's because it's a nice noise!
IIRC correctly, it's well inside the limits, but then Db is a particular way of measuring volume and doesn't equate to the human ear's perception of volume. |

Thanks for that; I know many marshals are well known to Simon and hoped he might have said something .
The engine does sound very good, let's hope Simon can get back into the seat soon. I want to open-up the Porsche engine but have large 'road spec' silencers at the moment. Simon's are much more compact for a similar engine size. |

I imagine most single seater silencers are custom build in order to get the best power and driveability within the noise limits.

Hey just thought I would add techcraft are a very good silencer's and they are used on goulds and pilbeams although i dont think they are used on simon's car
