Moto GP Predictions - Stick Your Neck Out
Ok, so who's willing to state their predictions for the 2010 Moto GP season and enter it into the eternal vastness of the on-line world? Who's willing to invoke the scientific method? How about a daft claim? Anyone willing to risk their reputation, or lack there of? Well, I will...
 Rossi will break his single season record for race wins and claim another title. He’ll announce he’s riding Italian in 2011. Stoner will finish second with a brace of wins and announce a departure from Ducati. Lorenzo will not look as threatening as he did in 2009. Pedrosa will only win one race, maybe. Spies will make Simoncelli look very silly as Rossi's heir apparent. Two races will be worth watching this year. RdP will set his single season record for fewest DNF’s via crashing. Someone will win the first grand prix to be held at the Motorland Aragon circuit. FB Corse will run out of money. Well, I’ve put plenty out there. Some of which, I hope doesn’t happen. And some of which is just plain pointless. I’m sure some or all of it will come back to haunt me later! |

FB corse will be banned for being 10 seconds off the pace in qually!!
De Puniet will get two pdiums and crash 20 times to ensure a ride from FFSA again Simoncelli will crash even more Suzuki will be awful as usual Edwards will be great on Saturday and for 5 laps Sunday before fading I will turn off a lot of races before the end as I did last year!! |

I believe that Spies will be on the podium more than once and possibly with a win !

Stoner and Rossi dominate the season with Vale winning the title
Stoner wins this weekend Pedrosa and Lorenzo win four races between them(1 for Dani and he decides to leave Repsol at the end of the year) Marco Melandri to win a race again-I'll go out on a limb and say Germany! Spies will be best rookie(can that even be claimed as a predication) ahead of Aoyama Outside of the big class: Best 125 title battle in years Best Moto2 title battle ever! |

Stoner will blitz the championship
 - unless his wife falls pregnant & gets sunday morning sickness...Reckon Spies will get some podiums. Rossi wont finish the season  . Dovi will beat Pedrosa but they will both be slower than Nicky Hayden who will finish top 6....1. Stoner 2. Lorenzo 3. 4. Spies 5. Rossi 6. Hayden On some serious drugs here, who's gonna finish 3rd - Randy perhaps .... Does Nicky have an awesome Ducati year in him???

Stoner will win the championship.
Stoner will make it 4 in a row at Qatar. Spies will replace Dani as the 4th alien. Lorenzo will again show patches of brilliance mixed with periods of brain fade. Although Rossi will finish 2nd in the championship we will again see some "unforced errors" along the way ala Le Mans / Donnington / Indianapolis last year. He will have to ride at super human levels to match Stoner and will over cook it at times. Regardless of who wins I hope to see a great tussle free from injuries, illnesses and mechanical troubles. May the best man win.

Stoner will win his 2nd WC again crushing his team mate in the process. Rossi will be very strong... but a bit older, of course
. Lorenzo will be impressive but not consistent enough for a title.Pedrosa will fade off a bit more, possibly will be threatened by Spies for a place in the elite. I don't expect nothing particularly exciting from the rest of the field, except the eventual heroic performance here or there. I see most of you are not man enough to make Moto2 predictions, only the easy MotoGP thing . Here is my Gospel: Simon or di Meglio will get the title (hint: they are in Aspar's team).Respecting 125cc, I don't want to spoil your fun giving my forecast  , I prefer you enjoy the races without knowing who are going to be the top riders (but it is very obvious).  About sidecars, I'm pretty sure Kindenmaier-Strungberger will be powerful, followed by Schneidermeister-Grohnmitten. |
