Shelby leaving Parravano equipe

I was recently reading in CAVALLINO an article about Shelby and I believe it said that Joe Landacker, the mechanic, left Parravano's team first for the Edgar team and then Shelby came over to the Edgar team. I was wondering if anyone read in older articles why Shelby left the Parravano team--if Tony Parravano wasn't buying the cars he liked, or what? Also I wonder if Shelby had an inkling that Parravano might be in trouble. The CAVALLINO article doesn't mention that Parravano disappeared but that was after Shelby left the team.
