Just thought id say that JP has had his win taken away from him.

Invader should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
That's probably the most reasonable option.
It would be more fitting for him to receive a fine/race ban option as Bennett did.
As long as he got his knuckles rapped and Yvan is leading the championship, I'm a happy bunny.

P.S. I have just read that all he got was a 30 second penalty which put him down to third.
This means that he still leads the championship.
Not a happy bunny here!!!

Indeed, a 30 sec penalty hands the win to Thompson. Maybe that was the phone call he was taking as he passed me coming home on the M40.

I notice that the revised results are still provisional pending further appeals. We haven't heard the last of this one yet.

I hope so - it might teach him to be more careful in future. Although I didn't see the incident, action could well be taken - but then probably could be against half the field!

And MST haven't published the results with MG's in it. Don't they know MG are in the BTCC?

I would like to see his result taken away completely. This would mean that a) he will not get away with cheating and b) it would promote Dan to third!

Muller should be awarded the championship here and now - the actions of Plato recently have been a bloody disgrace. In that one race he hit Bennett so hard that it brought out a safety car so that they could recover Bennett's strcken car. And then he goes and takes out Muller in a move akin to Soper vs Cleland at the same circuit... Disgraceful driving.

A one-race ban should be awarded, becuase it would be hypocritical not too after they gave PB one. And where are MG on the championship tables!

Okay, if the points system is the same as it was when I was alive the result after Plato's current penalty means he is 5 points in front of Yvan. If Jason had stayed behind Yvan he would be 5 points in front of Muller.
So, what penalty did he receive again?
The only championship contender that gained from this was Mr Thompson.
It's a crock and they know it.
The only people who will stop this going any further are Del Boy and the Luton Posse.
It's a bloody outrage.
I will put my soap box in the loft now.

Oh to have been a fly on the wall chez Triple Eight last night.

Obviously whatever Del Boy and co are doing isn't enough. I understand that after the Snetterton incident with Bennett, JP was fined by the team. A five figure sum was mentioned !! This time they'll probably have to break his kneecaps.
