Powered by JPM should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

I work 5 blocks away from the WTC but didnt go in today because i have a quiz in school later tonight.
It is insane here...upto 50,000 people work in the two buildings alone. Hundreds of thousands in the area.

I was watching the morning news when the second plane crashed on LIVE TV!!! it looked like a scene from a movie.
My eyes watered thinking in the # of people that i would never see again. People i would see while getting lunch...people i would see on the subway...the people i rode the elevator with...

The financial markets are paralyzed.
Morgan Stanley occupied 12% of the buildings.
Merrill Lynch's headquarters were there.

The kids celebrate because they weren't taught any better. They are told that the US is the devil and we should all die.

Sorry for being off-topic

Though I left New York six years ago, I lived in the shadow of those buildings, rode through them every day on the Subway. I had freinds who worked there... I just cannot imagine the city without the towers that were always there, so permanent, so massive...its so terribley sad. How many people will have died in this????How many did I know???How many places I loved are gone forever?

I go to school in NJ, and from my school I can see the NYC skyline. Having seen all that you all saw on the news in realtime....absolutely horrifying. And right now there's explosions in Afghanistan.

Definately not good.

I am sorry my friend they weren't innocent people. Learn a little about that war and you might understand. This is a different situation. Grow up!

I´m not trying to defend Japan on this one, my friend..., but kids are innocent people for me. They hardly know something about their nationality.

Not appropriate comparison

I don't think it is appropriate, today, to bring up any comparison with the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, any more than the rape of Nanjing by the Japanese on the tens of thousands of innocent civilians, women and children included that were brutally killed in China, or any other atrocities from WW II for that matter. Speed, I think, by your post, you appear to be trying to score points and downplay today's tragic attacks in America. We all have relatives who were killed or brutally injured by Japanese, or Germans in WW II, but this is not the time to start such condemnations.
