What with late races at this meeting and 6hrs, find it difficult nowadays to get to our fav pizzeria in Stavelot! The restaurant in the new hotel adjacent to the circuit is very good (and you can walk there), but only as long as I'm not paying...... |

I always wanted to do the 6 hour in the Cortina but I think the pace gets quicker year on year than the car does, it'd be a mobile chicane and I don't really want it smashed up again. we have an idea to do it in a TT . . . . but that again depends on its pace when done.

A week to go and we'll all be fighting for space in the colour coded Spa paddocks as usual! With GpC now seemingly taking priority for garages, along with the Touring cars, expect the 'tent corals' for CER and other grids will be erected in the nick of time as usual....
Weather at Spa for the WEC this w/end looks stunning. What chance of it remaining for The Classic? Not a hope...... |

The snow forecast is from Muttersport Weather, but the good old Beeb are not committing themselves yet.....
Last weekend when the WEC cars were there, track temps were apparently getting on for 50C, and only Toyota had ordered tyres suited to something that high! Wonder if Avon do a winter compound ZZ.....? |

Bit cold at night but should be around 7 degrees in the day, cloudy with some light rain, rather more bearable than last weekends 27 degrees or so (not surprised track temps were so high)! |

All good at Spa- even the weather so far! That is, apart from POLLEN! Everything covered in green 'dust'...
Bizzare qualifying last night, but it was Friday 13th! Only got little iPhone, so this is as much as I can cope with typing at the moment. |

Should have seen it here Friday Mike, just as the "eisheiligen"started to blow.Looked more like a dust storm, then the rain started.Have to say the forecast was just about spot on with timing. We had a clear and dry run for VLN though.
Hope all well at Spa,was going to have a drive over today but I think its a feet up day today. |
