Could have been Mercedes but somehow not convinced (at least not yet) about their tech performance (still feels like a fluke) but McLaren is the real deal and that's where my vote went.

McLaren got my vote. They went looking for a result. I liked when their track position kept them out on track when the followers were able to pit under the SC.... they rolled the dice on another strategy by keeping him out on inters until the time was perfect to change. |

Mercedes because of Most Improved Bonus.
Will it last? |

I went for McLaren. Mercedes might have preferred a boring dry race, which I am sure would have led to a win or 2nd for Russell.

It might have been Red Bull (yawn) because their car is still right at the top, even if one of their drivers is wasting it.
It might have been McLaren who continued their resurgence and had two cars right up at the sharp end. It might even have been Haas for the entertainment-value of watching them scorching through the field on wets early on. However I gave it to Mercedes. They have a much improved car that put them in contention but it was allowing their drivers to race that clinched it for me. And their drivers raced each other hard, but just within the bounds of sensible. |
