BTCC @ Castle Combe

Does anyone know what the series is that is run at Castle Combe which involves the Tourers from last year??? Apparently it exists and I will be going on May 6th. Just wondered! Also, why isn't BTCC run at Castle Combe? It would go down a storm!

My Autosport calendar tells me that Castle Combe on May 6th has the "boilingPOINT ARP F3 Championship" and the "Monoposto championship"..no mention of tourers

I imagine you mean the Formula Saloons championship.

The details I have for the May 6th show two saloon races. However, I doubt that there would be any tourers in either the Castle Combe Saloon Championship or the BRSCC Road Saloon Championship, as they wouldn't fit the regs. Unless something else has been added?

Yep, Andy's right not at Combe. The formula saloons are at Pembrey the following weekend.

I believe the reason that Combe doesn't get tourers is something to do with the Circuit owner ! Not sure what but that's what I heared last weekend.

The Powertour was superb and I'm sure the Tourers would be equally as good and I sincerely hope that they get to Combe soon.

The circuits been improved lately, and its similar to Thruxton since you can see most of the way around the track when you're on the start/finish line. Well I'll report back if I go so you know what its like.
