What Car?
If you could have any car in the world, at no expense to you, what would it be?
has to be road legal. Tom. |

I might take a Pagani Zonda, those McLarens are oh so common.

I'm with Guy on that.
1. New model Pagani Zonda C12S. 7.3 litres of Mercedes muscle in a jaw-dropping Italian supercar. Unbeatable, and a bargain at around a third of the price of.... 2. Nick Mason's dark red McLaren F1 LM. |

Having said that, I see there's no age limit, so
Nick Mason's Ferrari 250 GTO, reg "250 GTO". Then - not that I could bring myself to do so - I could sell it for several million and buy EVERY car I wanted. |

The road version Mclaren F1 seems a bit ugly compared to the racing version, but race ones can be made road legal.
Too many cars to choose but i dooo like Lambourghini Diablo's. |

Too many to choose from. Let's just say I'd have a lot of fun going on test drives, before making my decision.

I want the fastest accelerating road car in the world.
The Tiger Z100WR. Twin engined, four wheel drive, 404bhp and 12,000rpm, sequential gearchange, 621 bhp per tonne... Wow! 0 - 60mph in 2.8 seconds, and 0 - 100mph in under 6 seconds! And you build it yourself! |

I don't want something that goes that fast to be built by me. That could be VERY dangerous!

For me just a simple Aston Martin. The one you might see hurled around a track near you by a Mr Pete Hardman, that's right the Le Mans winning 1959 version.
Failing that it would have to be a GT40 or E Type. Simon |

The 29 Bentley does sound nice but the dead flies in the teeth from smiling a lot does not, hence the GT40

True. But its all part of the fun
Trying to fit into something the size of a shoebox on the other hand, is not what i immediatly think of when thinking of an ultimate car |

1929 Bentley for me too. But I wouldn't need a supercharger on it. Just an elegant, purposeful standard Tourer 4-and-a-half will do for me.

R31 Nissan Skyline GTS-R only 500 built 154 Kw (not bad for 1989 or when ever) no electronic BS, RWD, and I love 'em!

My Ideal car!
It would have to be a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Komperssor. Quicker to 200mph than anything other road car I know. 5.5 liters of pure V8 grunt with the added spice of a supercharger. Oh and dont forget to set up an account with Bridgestone the SL55 dose love a set of rear tyres.

A Ford GT90, or maybe the only street-legal Toyota GT-ONE that was produced.

It would have to be a HSV Grange. It is based on the Holden Caprice. Really well finished and great performance but still all the nice mod cons and ride of a Caprice
