FOSAgold website
For us Aussis who do not have any telecast of quals, I finally checked out the Fosa Gold website and was able to get pics every 4 or 5 seconds, and this is with a slow 28.8 modem and an old P166 computer.
Now, I just wonder whether anyone with broadband has checked out this facility, whether you can get continuous live streaming ? Still, I cannot complain with what I can get, because the pics sometimes give you splits as well as the positions of the car shown and the gap to the pole time - probably same as the telecast of quals. It may not be as good as a telecast, but a lot better than just watching script. Lastly, I would like to thank the forum member who recommended this website last week. Very good, I use it to. Valve, you cannot get continuos streaming footage on broandband - it's simply a slideshow of jpeg's, a few of my F1-watching mates have checked out the site with their broadband connections and got up to about a frame every 1/2 seconds. I get one about every 3/4. It's a good service - the next best thing to TV. |

Try this one. Not today, because the have no live broadcast this weekend. I used it once, but apparently the server is somewhat slow.....

Thanks DNQ, will give it a whirl for Hungary qualifying, as I'd rather wait and get the delayed Ch 9 broadcast of the race.
Several other sites have provided video feed in the past but seemed to always get shut down pretty quick, presumably by Bernie. Cheers, |
