Thanks and Well Done!

Just wanted to offer a public thank you to the entire York City Racing team for all their efforts this year and congratulate tham on a fine fifth place finish in both the teams and drivers championships.

Whilst we would have been delighted with this at the start of the season we were running so well by Mondello that we started to believe we could do better. Unfortunately a combination of things conspired against us and our more experienced and better financed rivals started to pull ahead of us. However when you actually sit down and look at the drivers who were behind us in the championship you realise that we did a bloody good job under the circumstances.

So a BIG well done to John, Hyla, Jim, Peter, Stuart, Sylvia, Neil, Colin, Malcolm, Kathleen and every other person who helped out this season. Thanks guys - it was great to be part of the team.

All I can say is roll on next season and see you all at Bootham Crescent in November!

Yep. Add my thanks to the team for letting me have access to their pit at times. It was a pleasure helping a small team that has 'open' doors rather than the ever growing trend of fencing in the cars and drivers.

All the best for next year.

Ditto, Simon.

Thanks for letting me be grid girl for a day at Knockhill for Jim! It was an experience and a half having Touring Cars driving towards you on the track during the line up.

Blighter Batchelor burned my hat!
I'm not talking to John ever again.
I'm also disappointed that my breast size is not sufficient to become a grid girl.
All in all a dismal year with Muller losing out again ...at least he lost to a worthy opponent this year.
I only have one thing to say:
Well done to all the crew, especially the newly appointed UK pasta eating champion....and even Neil ;o) and I look forward to next year, seeing the tiny Australian person have a car that shows what the Antipodean chap can do, with or without a roo with a puncture.
WE...........ARE..........YORK, we are York we are pished as a fish and quite bouncy!

It was lovely to see John looking fit and raring to go.

Thanks to whole team - it's been a great year and a lot of fun and thanks for the kind words Tony - very much appreciated.
