We,ve had one for BAR and Toyota, so why not have one for Sauber?

With the exception of 2000 when the Prost was total ****, this is the first time that Heidfeld has an experienced team-mate, the pressure will really be on him to perform and show that he is capable, i believe that theres still abit of life in HH-F yet and will make it difficult for Nick.

Frentzen will be faster, Nick will score more points. But I don't rule HHF out for a lucky first Sauber win.

If Nick can out shine HHF then he may impress some of the other teams and he could get a better ride. I will put my money on him to out score and out qualify HHF.

It will be very close. I think with Saubers budget, they have the best line up they could possible get. Reliablity will be the deciding factor, too close to call. |

I agree this is a really even pairing. I choose Frentzen by a hair. A Sauber win?? Don't think so...I'm hoping BAR might steal one this year!

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed. |

Subjectively, I hope Nick kicks HHF's butt!
Objectively, I think the battle between the two will be one of the closest of 2003. I think EERO is probably spot on to be honest. Nick always manages to bring the car home in the top 10, and with the new points system, should be rewarded for his consistency... |

I'm expecting a close duel, but I expect Frentzen to come out on top, as Nick has never been that outright fast, his performances have looked impressive reliability-wise up against rookies, but that won't happen again. Nick's hopes of a future big-team drive could be killed off if Frentzen is faster, that will motivate him, but I don't expect it to be enough.

Frentzen will be feeling much more at home here than at any other team - these are the guys he turned down a drive for Williams in 1994/5 for!

I expect HHF to be quicker in the races, while qualifying should be a toss up.
Sauber will never win a race as long as there is a Ferrari in the running!! |

Or as long as they use their engines.

I think this team mate battle will decide who replaces Coulthard at Mclaren, HHF isn't in the running but if Heidfeld outpaces him then he most certainly is!

I would like to see GF in a Mac if he cant get the Ferrari drive.
On topic... HHF has always been really fast in the races. Even when Trulli would out-pace him in qualifying he would finish ahead of him on a regular basis. HHF is one of the more underrated drivers on the grid. |

I really like that lineup. I think it's too close to call. I think that's the only team where I like both drivers.

Nick will be the fastest one, why?, I don't know(good argument), but I think he knows the car better.
