Stopped at 11.30 according to the news item on the TOCA site. We'll soon see and (I'm not trying to rub it in! ) the live races should be exciting!

I only have small experience of weather conditions in Ireland but it does get very dark on occaisions (and no smart A%$# comments about when the sun goes down ).

Do any of the tracks in the UK have lighting around the track to overcome this problem or extend the time you can race?

Looking at the live pictures, it's dark, gloomy, overcast - but not raining just at the mo.

As regards lighting - no, a few tracks do provide floodlights only for designated "night races". But, we've a big problem with curfews as it as limiting race time even if there was sunlight 24 hours a day!

Thanks Snake, yes we have 1700ish curfews everywhere here, however, we rarely have to appeal against the light like they do in cricket!!

So all the cars have there lights on and hope for the best in the gloom by the sound of it.....:confused:
