Announcement - F1 Forum Moderator Change

As you may or may not have noticed, our little team has had a change recently. R (which is pronounced 'S') has left the team and is being replaced by EERO (who's caps lock was stuck when he joined).

I would like to take the opportunity to thank R, who has left the team with a huge hole to fill. His dedication & hardwork were second to none, and I'm sure you'll agree was one of the most vigilant, even handed, hardworking and amongst the most popular of the ten-tenths staff.

We did'nt always see eye to eye, but he was ok for a Montoya fan.

On a personal note, I wish R well and thank him for his years of support. If it were not for R's intervention early in my ten-tenths membership, not only would I not be on the staff, I would'nt have remained a member. He has, and always will be, a great member and personal friend.

That huge hole he leaves, will be filled by EERO. For those newer to the forum, EERO (along with Gerard) laid the foundation for the fantastic forum we have today. He was a moderator before any of us, and was responsible for putting most of the current team together (dont hold that against him).

A large part of the reason our forum is better than others IMO, comes from his hard work. Although he's a Coultard appologist, his imperfections are minimal.

So please, take the opportunity to thank R and welcome our newest (or is that oldest?) addition to the moderator team EERO.

I am relatively new member (less than a year), but TTth's, and the way it is run, is one of the best I have come across. This is because it is moderated in a fair and unbiased way. R has been fantastic, bringing us the results of the comp with speed and acuracy.

I thank him and wish him well and good luck to EERO.

I got a small cottage in Jersey, an Aston-Martin DB4 and first choice of the grid Girls from Barcelona. R has to negotiate his own deal.

Behind the scenes? I'll tell you. There are 2 staffrooms. The first is quite serious, and that is where the brains meet to maintain the forum, and continue the high standard we all enjoy today.

The other, is a little dark room where EERO, Moffat and I drink beer and watch porn.

To my mind R was one of the best moderators on the whole of the forum - his posts, forum decisions and outlook is always well considered. He has made my time at ten-tenths a pleasure and helped me a lot as a moderator.

Luckily for us he will still be around.

Additionally we know we are in good hands with EERO.

Thanks guys and gals.

I will definitely continue posting, though my input over the next couple of months could be sparse due to some traveling.

But I will definitely be here at the race weekends and will also update the comp after every race as usual. I would also like to take this opportunity to publically thank the 10 Tenths moderating team for the time we've been working together, and to wish EERO and the rest of the team all the best for the future.
