Andy Roberts should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Transponder Questions

Quick question for everyone.

I haven't raced this year as I was originally planning to contest the Barber Dodge Pro Series in the USA and after testing at Sebring in April have not managed to secure the budget for the full season. Since then I've had to sit out the season due to a lack of money but I am now looking at possibly doing the remaining couple of races of the Mono championship. I have a car thats eligable and its cheap to enter but I don't have a transponder.

Can I hire one and if so how much and where from? If I have to buy one how much are they and where do you fit them on the car? The car is a Jedi Formula Honda.

Ta!

Hi Andy. I don't know if you can hire one but they cost £145 inc. VAt from MST Sports Timing. Have you contacted JC? He might be able to lend you one for the odd occasion.

Andy, you can normaly hire them on the day from the race organiser or the timing people. The BRSCC and or MST charge about £20 while the BARC have let me borrow one for free. It is best to check first though.
