What happened to Burti?
The last thing I heard of him is that he's testing for Ferrari.Is he still there?

As far as I know this year he tested for Ferrari F1 only once,true that now Massa is leaving so there is an empty test seat at Ferrari but McNish also runs for it.If Burti can't secure that seat and HHF can't secure any F1 seat then they are quite likely to be team-mates in DTM driving Opel Astras for Team Holzer.

Yea, his F1 hopes were pretty much finished off by a combination of the Spa crash and Prost folding. It's a shame really, I think he had some potential.

What happened to BURTI?? a few crashes and a team (PROST) folding up....... thus fewer drives and HENCE no seat

As this thread is about Burti, I will refrain the impetus of speaking about Ricardo Zonta (whom I rate very highly...).

Indeed, Burti is going to test a DTM Astra next month. It seems that he will not keep his testing role at Ferrari in 2004, and I don't see him racing in Brazil now (he has a too high salary to do that).

There has been gossips here in the United States that both Burti and Zonta will test Fittipaldi-Dingman Racing (the CART team) during the off-season.

Actually the list of Brazilians aiming for the (still to be confirmed) second Fittipaldi-Dingman car does not getting longer: Zonta, Burti, Roberto Moreno, Enrique Bernoldi, Ricardo Sperafico, João Paulo de Oliveira, Ricardo MaurÃ*cio, Hoover Orsi... Nevertheless, I still believe FDR will set for a non-Brazuca!

Thanks for saying that... who knows Ricardo's career would rate him well ahead many current f1 drivers.
