Whose the LeMans dark horse ?
Well , after hearing that Andy Wallace will Partner Jan Lammers in the RfH Dome this weekend , thats gotta be my pick . Im not so sure if Seji Ara-san can keep up the laps like those two can . If their performance from the last 24 hours in June is anything to go by , we should be in for a treat !!!
Im hoping that I can still get so see the race but I wont know if I can go or not for a few days . Ive got Sebring 12 hours and LeMans 24 and Monza FIA-GT done this year so far , wouldnt it be a nice way to finish the year by getting to go to LeMans again . Life is good , LeMans TWICE in one year !!! |

I'll be cheering on the Panoz, but the head says RfH have the better chance of beating the Audi (which has to be the favourite).

A predictions thread would be a very good idea.

I've got to go with the Audi for the win. For my dark horse, I have to agree with the Dome, they've got a shot for sure. Would love to see that.

I'll be different (so what else is new...)
Since this is on the Bugatti Circuit, where horsepower & straight-line speed are not a requisite need, but good downforce and handling are.... My dark horse is the Pescarolo Courage...they are the most familiar with the circuit and the new aero changes they mad eover the sumemr for this type of track will make them the surprise team to watch... My other dark horse choice would be the Taurus Lola...they will have something to prove after being snubbed for an invite last June... |

Im going with the Intersport Lola, it mite be almost as fast as the 900's and if it rains...rain is a great equaliser.

Its a shame that Courage didnt enter their C60 cuz then we might be treated to 1000 kms of the Dome versus Panoz versus Courage like the epic battle for 5th last LeMans !!! Hate the word but that was "awesome" !!! |

Whats your views on Sedji Ara , I personally feel that he might not be able to hack it against the seasoned pro's ? There's no point growing old If you don't grow crafty !!! |

In another LM 1000K thread Fab said the forecast is a dry one thus far for the weekend....but this is November at that latitude...anything can change between now and Sunday

Wasn't Ara in the Team Goh car for the 1000K at Spa? If so, how was his performance as I didn't get to see any coverage? That was a wet race if I recall.
Tim: I didn't overlook the Pescarolo Courage either, would love to see a strong show from them. |

From what I saw and heard, Ara (or I should say Seiji, as Japanese names work the other way round) performed pretty well at Spa.

My dark horses are the Care Racing/Veloqx Prodrive Ferrari 550s. Sure they arent the quickest cars out there at the moment but they are faster than some of the LMP 900 cars such as the R&S's. Lets not forget either that they did finish 5th and 6th at PLM this year.
