Back in 91 /92, several private teams built sportscars for teh World Championship - namely Brun, Konrad and BRM.. Has anyone seen these cars since?? I vaguely remember the BRM running with it's lid cut off a few years ago.. is that right

Konrad built a Lamborghini-engined car in 1991, with Stefan Johansson driving it. It's featured in the "Forgotten Sports Cars" section of this month's Le Mans Series & Sportscar Racer magazine. Johansson said that was the worst car he ever drove. The magazine said it had been sold to a private collector.

Cheers, interesting to hear what happened to those cars - shame they got thrashed by the likes of Mazda, Peugout, Toyota, Jaguar etc....
I can remember seeing them at Silverstone - way off the pace. |

Rest In Peace, Tony Roper
I should have mentioned that site. That place is great for information.
I remember reading about the BRM P301 a few years ago, how it was to be entered in Le Mans and other WSC events. It's kinda neat to read over old racing magazines and see which projects never came to pass and which ones went on to greatness. |

Memories come flooding back!!! It was driven at Le Mans by Wayne Taylor.. I think he was the only driver to get track time in practice, so he was the only driver allowed to race!! A problem in the 24 hours!! I think he crashed it in the dark at the final chicane. Well, maybe.
