Only been a fan of SBK since 2001 so can't really comment on 20th century racing!! But the best WSBK race I have seen has to be Imola 2002 race 2! And Edwards that year in general was pretty amazing!!!

Fogarty has got to be number 1.
I also rate Corser, only the 1 championship but an outstanding rider |

Most talented rider(s) without a title - Slight (the unluckiest S.O.B to ever pull on leathers) and Chili.
Foggy and Edwards are certainly the stand-outs. They won against top quality fields. |

Probably Fogarty from what I have seen (ie the last stages of Foggie career) but didn't Rossi have some success on the superbikes at the Suzuka Enduros?!

Cannot agree with you about Craggill bathurst. He was rubbish when he was over here in BSB, total rubbish, was outqaulified by privateers and everything. And he hasn't dona a lkot else since eitehr.
But I know he was awesome in OZ. Seems not all of the quick Aussies go on to dominate the world! |
