anyone know whay happened to mark burr
does anyone know what or were mark burr went to... his site stops at dec 2003... he came from the town near us

he raced in the 2003 british super bikes ...
also the supersports before that. |

all i know is that he didnt race bsb in 2004
 or euro superstock - maybe he retired / ran out of money

No dosh, end of story i'm afraid.
He did have a couple of Supersport rides with Carbontek but Mark hasn't raced nationally this year. |

Mark Burr
Hi guys
Mark Burr's Sister here - Bev. To let you all know, Mark's Supersport team ran out of the much needed cash after the Cadwell round in 2003. If only there had been enough from the start the bikes could have been competitive. For 2004 a ride was sorted with another Supersport Team, however, another rider jumped in and stumped up more cash (an amount we could not compete with) for the ride! Mark did get out on a Superstock bike (provided by a previous sponsor) a couple of times during the year. But as always the old funding situation decides your fate. And on to 2005 - who knows??? Mark's priorities have changed somewhat. Not only has our Mother been seriously ill since last Christmas, but more recently Mark has become a proud Dad of a baby girl named Megan. I was surprised to hear you guys still remember him, and I only found out about this site when someone forwarded me the link! |
