Val de Vienne
Yesterday night, searching for a replacement track for Magny-Cours, I stumbled upon a nice track in central France called Circuit du Valle de Vienne. It has a couple of good features, but I managed to improve on it a bit, as to make it ready for the French Grand Prix in the near future.
First thing I had to do was improve on the short main straight -- it is only about 500 m long. There's isn't enough room to make it as long as I would have liked, but I managed to lengthen it to about 675, 700 m, which should be enough. Otherwise I changed a couple of corners to make them more suitable for modern Grand Prix racing, like the (in)famous slow corner-long straight-slow corner configuration. Here's my view on the track. I made a full-graphics and a track-only version. Tell me what you think and, please, improve where you deem necessary. |
