Vehicle dynamics books

Hello!

I wonder whether anyone has any experience with the following book:

The Multibody Systems Approach to Vehicle Dynamics by Mike Blundell and Damian Harty, Elsevier, 2004, ISBN 0-7506-5112-1.

If so, did you find the book useful? Do you have any recommendations of other book on the subject of vehicle dynamics and simulations? I already have Race car vehicle dynamics and the Carroll Smith books.

Thanks in advance

TEAM78 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Hi there nopanon
This book is fantastic (top read ) if your using the MSC ADAMS package. I would strongly reconmend it if your using MSC ADAMS and its the only book im aware of that covers using this package. It gives you good insight into how to use ADAMS and what functions to type in. If your using ADAMS use the MSC website forum as there's lots of useful guys there and even the author Damian Harty (works for Prodrive) goes there somtimes. not sure about the Co Author Mark Blundell though.
The book is focused on using ADAMS and assumes the reader to have knowedge on vehicle dynamics.
Another good book for vehicle dynamics is by Thomas Gillespie called Fundamentals of Vehicle Dynamics this book is more around road cars rather than race car dynamics. Hope this helps a little
