Finali Renault Monza photo-report

Hi!

This week-end in Monza there are the finals for the Renault campionships.
Great show on the track but even in the paddok, with many historic Renault race car with their drivers (look in the historic forum)...but none recent Formula 1 ...

Yeah, looks like they didn't start the race for some reason.

Can anyone explain why Sharp only got a 20 second penalty despite apparently not making a pitstop (the Renault site says he changed his tyres during the formation lap)? Surely he's benefitted here from breaking the rules.

It would appear the current penalty for failing to make the compulsory pitstop is 20 seconds added to the race time - i'm sure that will now be changed for next season because it would appear there is an advantage to be gained from not pitting and just getting a time penalty.

If that's the case then that's a pretty stupid loophole... I'm surprised Ryan was the only one to take advantage!

I've changed a few pics to links - they're great pictures, but please post smaller ones on here, with links to bigger ones on your site if necessary.
