Walshy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
NW on TV

Does anyone know when the 1st April meeting for the NW Formula Fords will be on Motors TV?

Have you done any commentaries for it yet Ian?

Just wondering what the time delay is going to be for each round.

Cheers

They will be on this Friday evening Chris (9pm on Motors, with multiple repeats) The Five coverage will be the early hours of next Wednesday morning. The commentaries will be done in the next 24 hours.

The time delay for each round will vary depending on what else is on - broadly speaking you can probably expect it to get longer as the year goes on, because more races are filmed than can be shown in any given week (generally speaking) but the TV series goes on after the season has finished.

I'll be posting on the site details of TV coverage for each round.

Cheque may be possible if you could go for a few more complements.

Well done Ian, the comentary was spot on and very knowledgable. A budding Brundle maybe.

I suspect some folks will be reappraising their lines etc. after watching the programme. Very interesting to see where we were going wrong - and right.

Only point I would make that the actual sound quality was a bit muzzy, down to the production company I guess.

Anyway, once again, well done.

Thanks. Hopefully the sound issues will be resolved for the forthcoming programmes - it is being worked on.

I THINK ????
Have you got a dose of the Mike Baldwins? It was only yesterday, but Martin Cowburn tells me it wasn't on Five at the advertised time.
I was hoping to show it at the Race Centre this weekend, but anything I record on my DVD recorder won't play on any other DVD player.
If anybody has a copy on DVD, please bring it with them.

Well, I've not checked yet. I usually let it run for a couple of hours in the hope of catching it. Not played it back yet, though.

The Five coverage does seem to be at the whim of live schoolboy basketball, so it sometimes comes on a bit late.

I recorded it on video off Channel 5 (no satellite) but it started at the end of the intro interviews. (I think it's always wise to add a half hour either side on Channel 5)

Nice to see decent Formula Ford on the telly though!

I think jnr jnr has it on his laptop, but if anyone brings him a recordable dvd disc he will burn it for them. Well, within reason, don't want 20 people with blank discs...
