Does De Ferran want J.B. out?
It seems that De Ferran needs a new watch. There was (with a bit of effort) plenty of time to get J.B. out for another run in Q1. Are we expected to accept the mealy mouth comments in his interview after practice. Also the teams website comment today was totally dismissive of J.B. I get the feeling that they don't want him!!!

What did De Ferran say? I missed it.
I cant find the dismissive comments of JB on the team website. Can you link me to them? |

agree Gil needs a new watch, giant red-faced mistake
but suggesting he / they did it on purpose to get rid of JB has to be the world's most ludicrous conspiracy theory since david icke said the queen was actually a lizard from outer space. |

I like your theory Dutton, though it must be more elaborated in the current quantum physics...
Maybe Ferran is also a kind of lizard... |

It isn't my theory. It is fact, as explained by David Icke.
You would have to get him to explain it. It is a pretty intriguing concept, though, given the 4th dimension is time. So, really, the said lizards are of the time realm...or they are actually time itself... It would certainly be interesting getting to try to form a coherent explanation! |

I look for Button to have a strong race tomorrow, possibly even beating Rubens to the finish line. We'll see. At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, how he reacts to Rubino's resurrgence could be important to his future at Honda and in F1, for that matter.

I don`t think for a minute that Gil wants Button out, what is far more apparent to me now that JB is no longer Dave Richards blue eyed boy and now that Rubens is at the very least matching him for pace is how much Jenson is talking down his chances all the time, has his moment passed, can you imagine if Hamilton gets a race seat at Macca and he is all of a sudden the British media darling, how will JB react to that?

Things look dark for Jenson. It's one thing to have an uncompetitive car, but in that situation the least you can do is beat your teammate, and all indications are that Ruben's is getting on top of him. He really has to turn that form around quickly as his stock is plummeting. If he thinks he's as good as Kimi/Alonso/Schuey then he should be beating Ruben's comfortably. He certainly was at the start of the year, and maybe the last few races have been an anomaly, but he's not looking so hot at the moment.

Well Im not entirely sure Honda want Jenson out. Although i wouldnt be surprised if Jenson would want out. After promise of more pace year in year out Honda have failed yet again it seems. Also the team seems to commit these almost comical errors that dont help his cause. Jenson's progress has stalled quite badly in the last couple of years and i get a sense that he is getting more and more frustrated which is effecting his performances on track.
Hmm... this is entirely speculation on my part but there is a Renault seat up for grabs and Jenson is renowned for coughing up cash to get out of contracts.... So Jenson to Renault maybe? |

If Webber goes to Renault it would leave room for Jenson to take his seat at Williams. If they would have him after the contract dispute.

What Button needs is divine intervention. Failing that, a mad Irish priest.

There seem to be more threads like this on here than ever - wild accusations with no real evidence. I think we'll leave it at that.
