What's going on with Belmondo?
After a good 2005 season and a 2-3 finish (which could have been a class win) at LM last year, the sky-blue Courages seem a shadow of themselves...what's going on? Is it the Mecachrome engine? Is it Paul's forced absence after his accident? Can somebody explain this dip in the team's performance?

All sorts of reasons I'd have thought...
The new engine doesn't seem to be the great leap forward they were hoping for. The C65 is fundamentally nearing the end of its useful life. Their development priority is probably looking more towards what they do with the LC75 rather than adding mods to their C65s. Certainly is disappointing, as their consistency last year really went some way towards enlivening the LMP2 championship and they come across as a very solid professional LMP2 outfit. Touch wood 2007 with bio-ethanol and the LC75 brings something better. |

Thanks for the Youtube link. I saw the car being taken away from Arnage and it was a mess, but this is the first time I have seen the crash. One of the bigger ones from the last few years not at a corner but on one of the faster sections. Very good to see the car staying on its wheels, otherwise it could have been much worse.
