Slotcars: 1/32 slotcars
I havent seen a thread for it but does anyone collect 'scalextric' 1/32 cars - various brands. I just started around 18 months ago (reliving youth I guess) but have just over 75 mainly classic GP, Sports, Touring, Can Am etc - Id be interested to see how many across the forums are into the same hobby - come on guys there just smaller versions of what we can't afford - no need to be embarrased!

I reckon this can have it's own thread, Steve.
I think I have a few old ones sitting in the loft somewhere! |

I've got a few but it's not really a "look at and keep nice" collection, it's very much a "run 'em" collection
4 Focus WRC's 2 Impreza WRC's Lancer WRC Corrolla WRC 206 WRC 2 Escort Cosworth 306 maxi 3 RS200's TVR 400R Porsche 911 GT3 DTM Astra coupe DTM Mercedes C class Ford GT40 Mini Clubman BMW Mini Audi TT Mclaren MP something or other (Kimi) Arrows A22 Jaguar R1? Williams FW23 Sauber ?? Stewart ?? Jordan 197 Renault R23 Batmobile Gotham City Police car Focus Police car The last three belong to the little'un (along with the GT40), he loves a bit of scalextric He uses his lego men as marshals I also have far more track than I can fit in the living room! |

Hello
I first got into slot car racing like a lot of "older" blokes in the 60's, gave it all up in the early 70's, started to get back into it in the mid 90's with Artin 1/43 scale and finally went full time into 1/32 scale about three years ago. Like you say Steve Carter Quote:
By the way if you haven't found it already look up www.slotforum.com. Nick |

We have one, which is a Vic Elford Porsche, however it's displayed rather than being used.
(BertMk2 - any chance of a pic of your track? Sounds impressive - may be good grounds for another thread!). |
