Ingsy should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Put your money where your mouth is.

So, you've 10 quid to bet on only the Aus GP.

You can bet on 1 driver for either a Pole Position, a Win, a Podium or a Points Finish.

Who do you bet on?

My bet will go on Heidfeld for a podium. I've got a feeling th Mclarens maybe fragile during the first couple of races, even though they seem to have good pace. Renault seem to be lacking slightly, Ferrari are strong but two drivers can't take up the whole podium

$200 that Massa will at least score a points finish. Any takers?

A few excerpts from that selection:

Hamilton is 20-1 to win his maiden GP and 4-1 for a podium.

HK (too lazy to learn to type his name - if he wins a race or beats Fisi consistently I promise I will learn) is short odds to win his maiden GP than Fisi - 20-1 vs 25-1. That's just daft - 25-1 for Fisi to win the race is pretty good I reckon… a good each way bet there.

Toyota are unpopular and poorly thought-of, but they are dark horses and may have been holding their hand close to their chest… how about a massive 28-1 for Ralf to get a podium? Pretty good odds for a top three driver…

Whilst we're on the outside bets, Williams always have the ability to be jokers in the pack - 40-1 for a Wurz comeback podium is pretty nice.

Chuck in the famously unpredictable Melbourne weather and some first race nerves, add a sprinkle of political gunpowder with car protests, perhaps a dash of engine penalty sauce… anything can happen and you might score yourself a drink out of it.

Hamilton is worth a punt at getting on the podium.

some worthwhile stabs in the dark:

22-1 Massa first retirement

20-1 Nick Heidfeld or Kubica pole <!>

11-1 Torro Rosso first car retirement

5-1 Heidfeld podium

20-1 Fisi win

20-1 Hamilton win

The bmws are the bandwagon to jump on i would think, as you know what to expect, especially Heidfeld. could be a drying track on saturday as well..... hmmm.......

a friend once told me to bet on the sporting teams / drivers / results you dont like or dont want - that way, you either have a winning feeling or some money to compensate!!
