Williams 2006 - I was wrong!
Well, after placing an unfortunately optimistic amount of money on a certain Aussie driver to win the WDC in 2006 I am now out of pocket, which isn't pleasant but is at least acceptable (and TBH expected).
But even worse, I also placed a bet against a certain (former?) poster on this board that Williams would beat BMW Sauber in the Constructor's Championship. So deep is the wound that it has taken me until now to start to come to terms with my shellacking and make good on the bet. Has anyone at Williams heard of flexible hydraulics lines? Geez.... ok, so here goes.... I WAS WRONG! |

Ah, if only the season had continued as it was in the flyaway races. Then maybe at least top 3 wouldve been possible.

Hey - you're not alone. I declared that BMW couldn't possibly beat them in their first season. To be fair, Williams did have massive reliability issues and were actually quite fast to start with.
How about adding another rash prediction? Williams to beat their (current) engine supplier in 2007. There you go - nothing wrong with sticking your neck out! |

Wisdom come with age... after 30 years watching F1 you will have a glimpse of who has what it takes to become champion... and sometimes not.

I predict that Williams will be snapping at Renault this season.

I think (and hope) Williams will beat Toyota this year. Williams just know how to race, unlike Toyota.
As for WDC, I don't really want to make a prediction at the moment but if I had to it would be Alonso. |

Jarno set a very respectable lap time at Jerez today using their Melbourne spec aero.I wouldn't want to say where Toyota are at the moment.

Toyota have looked nothing else for 75% of the years theyve been in F1. As for FW; Dont knock him out. Hes the ultimate fighter; Hes on the way back. Pure fighter; Who wants £50 on Williams being Champs within 5 Years? PM me please.
