Legend Fires Northwest Stages Blackpool

My first trip to that event with Two mates and all I can say is what a mint event it is.

We went to the Prom stages then back to service and the stages at Pontins until the late stages back at the Prom again

That Mini R1 is an unreal bit of kit (anyone got any nice slidey pics of it)
Three from me

It does look like a really good event, I also like the look of the sea front section......some cracking cars in there, I especially like the 2 Accent WRCs....any results from it?

John Stone bought his from Steve Petch who has about 3 or 4 left & will be using 1 on the Malcolm Wilson Rally

I don't know where Steve Simpson got his from but he has 2 of them, 1 for Tarmac & 1 in Gravel spec

Marcus Dodd has about 4 or 5 of them, Paul Bird used to have 2 of them, but what happened to them i haven't a clue..! Craig Middleton has at least 1, as does Peter Egerton & i think someone else has 1 but his name escapes me for now.

I always wonder what these kind of people do for a living to be able to afford 2+ WRC cars, and then the likes of GT with his 6R4, RS200 & now his 307, that is a lot of moneys worth of racing cars!!

I actually thought Simpsons was Petchs, but obviously didnt recognise the other one cos it is in Orange, but looks class....Are all the ones you mentioned ones taken from the Hyundai Team after they pulled out of the championship and just bought by the people named?

Well they are all Ex works cars, but wether they bought them direct off Hyundai i'm not sure, i think Steve Petch's first 1 was bought direct off them but not 100% sure

Here is Marcus Dodd's web site - you can get some sense of the operation from here. They are out on the Sunseeker this weekend - Car 1.

Here you go Road Rally

Why did you go OTL?

Short clip of Jaspers shunt looks VERY slippy there.

Hi All

Was out on this one doing the PCs on the Prom after 2nd stage and the two at Pontins, even the weather was kind to the marshals and other folks out working the event

Great day but did think the retirement rate was higher than previuos events , Shame Neil wnet OTL, he seemed to be enjoying himself in the 6R4

Plus points

People love em

Bad points

Ideal for SVs in that you can get out often, how someone bigger than me manages god knows
