Formula Junior race Brit GP 1963

I am interested in what happened to Hulme in this race. In MotorSport it says Hulme was leading Arundel, but spun off in his efforts to keep the Brabham in front of the Lotus 27.

Was anyone there that may recall, or does anyone have a copy of Autosport that may throw more light on what happened.

Apparently Hulme DNF'd

I wasn't there, but Autosport details the Arundell/Hulme lead battle, which lasted all race.
"The last lap was highly dramatic. Hulme put every possible effort into keeping the Brabham run of victories intact, closed right up into Stowe, but completely lost it at Club and walloped the outside battier"
