Ralt RT 30 research
I have recently purchased a Ralt RT 30 chassis 603. The car spent the first year racing in the UK in the 1986 British F3, car run by Jack Brabham Racing and driven by his son Gary Brabham. I am interested in photos and race information on the car, I have one photo in black & white only, and know the car placed 5th in the F3 championship after contesting 9 out of the 18 rounds - 1 2nd place a silverstone ?? in 1986.
The car is now located in Australia and i am trying to varify / complete the UK research. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Jason - Brisbane - Australia |

Try here: http://www.f3history.co.uk/ and in the book, "Brabham, Ralt, Honda - The Ron Tauranac Story" by Mike Lawrence if you can get hold of a copy.
The book does not list individual race results but shows that Gary Brabham finished 5th in the championship with 22 pts in an RT30/ 86-VW. |

Thanks
I am currnetly purchasing a copy of this book in Australia. I will try the link also. I was hoping some budding photographer may have snapped some photos of the car 20 odd years ago |

'Jack Brabham Racing' I think was run by someone else, might have been the same outfit that eventually ended up as 'Menu Motorsport', but I can't remember the original 'owner' of that? Anyone got any clues?
I think Gary sported Panasonic sponsorship on the car, but that might have been the RT31 he ran in 1987 though? |

Gary did have have panasonic backing for the majority of 1987, yes it was in the RT31. Not sure who was backing them in 1986?? Thanks for your input.
