petestenning should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
HSCC SuperPrix Brands Hatch (30 June - 1 July, 2007)

Having seen the entries for this event lets hope the weather is better than forecast.

I shall be there both days.

Lets see those F2 's give the F5000's a run for their money.

I have never seen so many 500cc F3 cars one one entry list.

Pen paper and Camera at the ready.

Renewal in prospect of the Richard Trott/Benn Simms Classic F3 battle from Snetterton.

Nice to see Tony Trimmer and Marcus Pye in F5000 cars.

And of course the ground shaking Can-Am Cars.

Pete

The great thing about this meeting last year was the cars were un-silenced. Absolutely how it should be, especially when big block chevy's are in town. Hope it is the same this weekend!

Hi there,
Great entry list, though it always is for the Superprix. Saturday looks like a complete washout, just like the Masters Festival in May.
The Grand Prix Masters race was cancelled then. Hope that won't be the case for the Historic F1.
Looking forward to the two days, despite the forecast!

I'm gonna be there for sure. The TGP is great and it'll be fantastic to see Tony Trimmer back out in an F5000 again as well. I think we're all permitted an overdose of nostalgia once a year

I would love to be going, I had a great time last year - even in the wet! But I have to move house to a house I don't have yet
Enjoy. I look forward to John's pictorials.

If Hubertus Bahlsen fights with the "Ragno" Arrows A4 as he did at the Nurburgring 2 weeks ago its realy worth going!! Altogether its a very impressive lineup of classes and drivers

Will be there on Sunday with my old man who is over from Canada. Would love to meet up with some fellow ten-tenthers but not sure who everyone is! I'm normally in Classic & Sports Car regalia but since I'm no longer working there I suppose I won't be. Shall we sort a meet time/location for anyone who wants to meet up?

The entry list looks great, but a little confused as to why MSV are using a Ferrari F1 car in their pre event publicity. There are none on the entry list. Likewise Motorsport news shows admission prices (£12) totally different to what is being charged (£20) plus extra for grandstand each day. Either way it still looks like a great meeting.

£12 was the advanced ticket purchase price for CSMA members. The 'on the gate' price is now £20 as advance ticket sales ended on Monday.

ARRRGGGHHH !!!!!!

CSMA !!!!!

I thought that advertising format seemed a little bit familiar !!!! I dare say that means our usual quiet HSCC event will be turned into the old "csma Classic Festival"-esque SELL OUT !!!

Damn!

(PS - yes I know it`s nice to see a big crowd - but not on the decent meetings!! - they should`ve done it for VdeV last weekend!!).

The weather may put paid to the weekend - rain on Saturday with heavy rain and thunder on Sunday. The forecast suggests it'll be one of the wettest weekends of the year

Latest forecast this morning:

Friday...sunshine and showers 17 degrees
Saturday...sunshine and showers 17 degrees
Sunday...sunshine and showers 19 degrees

At the moment it is raining steadily at Brands Hatch with few obvious signs it will clear up for a while to come
