A continous video feed you mean Rick? You'd have to pay for one of those fancy internet connections to be able to get it 'telly like'.
If its not that I'll stick with the webcam. Last edited by touringlegend; 17 Aug 2001 at 08:30. |

THe aim would be for it to be available as a stream to any home user. Quality should be pretty good for everyone. No need to upgrade your connection.
The current web cam doesnt move or update real time does it? RickP |

No, it refreshes itself every 45 seconds, but it's a bit useless, cos if your listening to TOCA Radio you just get mixed up looking at two or listening to two sources.

Call me sad but a couple of times, I watched Big Brother live on the cam and Real Time Player couldn't keep up with their movements. Explain how we would be able to see race cars on a reasonable quality screen on a pooters running a basic 56k modem on bog standard telephone lines? I am not convinced as of yet....

I didn't need to watch it on the Net, I've got E4 on Sky!!!
If you look in the F1 Forum here Lorna, you will find a topic on F1 Internet TV. I followed that today, and although picture quality isn't 100%,it's OK

I wouldn't mind not having it if we got decent TV coverage, even it the coverage is delayed!
