How is the winner of the 'Ian Taylor Trophy' going to be determined? Is it aggregate time across the two races, a mini-points structure or is it just going to be based on Race 1 or 2's result?

A huge thanks to all drivers that supported the race yesterday. Whilst not a huge entry, the racing was great and congratulations to Joey on a fantastic drive. Lets hope it happens next year ;-)

Not a criticsm but I'm sure the entry may have been a little more substantial had this meeting not clashed with Castle Combe FF1600 championship running not too far away on the same weekend. Well done to Joey though.

Just needed better promotion, plenty of guys would have done it had they had more notice, budgets being what they are decisions for which races take place early on. Theres not many that wouldnt miss up the chance for a run at Thruxton, and future races could be helped along by including within the classic FF guys remit for promotion and possibly include in their diary as a non championship event.

Didn't make the prize giving at silverstone, and have to say i still think these special events deserve more publicity and why wouldn't couldn't the classics have been included on the diary for the day. I'd bet my shirt that your guys would have loved a run at Thruxton this year.

Well ACB9, you really need to get yourself out on the track and help support the races to which you refer, you could dust off that old Hawke youve spoke of or buy that pre 90 that you keep threatening to turn up with !
Remember there are plenty of people on tight budgets that would gladly help out so you could get a start. |
