Bottas. Yeah! He gets my vote. Special mentions to Kimi(sad about his tyre failure) and Max(for his superb battle with Herr Vettel).

I think it might well be Nico Hulkenberg again with his sixth. But I'm going to hand it to Lewis. What more could he do? An excellent pole, fastest lap and the win, apparently with pace to spare.

there are a number of people I could give this one to: Lewis was flawless, Bottas was excellent, Max fought hard, Nico Hülkenberg did great in that improved Renault and Daniel Ricciardo brought is car back from 19th to 5th so.. Ricciardo it is.. but if you would ask me a few minutes later, I could give it to any of the others mentioned.. or not.. so close

Kimi. Ferrari has no choice but to give him the number one status.

Easily Hamilton. Completely untouchable for the whole event. I rarely vote for the winner, but he was in a league of his own. Special mentions to Bottas and Ricciardo for great drives, also to Verstappen for schooling Vettel so that he could only pass him with the aid of a pitstop.

Close, and I nearly didn't give it to Ricciardo for having thrown it away after his early good work - but he just put his head down and got on with it, and got a great result after a disappointing qualy...... so he gets it.

Bottas, could also be my choice for driver of the season to date.He has impressed me and I previously believed he was very useful,he's a bit better than that.

Bottas.
Feeling sorry for Raikkonen. @Liberty: can we please get rid of Pirelli, and replace that junk with someone who actually knows how to produce tires? Thank you. Michilin - Dunlop - Goodyear - Bridgestone. All good to me. Maybe even Hankook or Yokohama. Leave it to the Italians to make pasta. |

Easy: Hamilton. Pole, led every lap, won the race, fastest lap and all while controlling the pace and hardly looking like he stretched himself.
Great recovery drives from Bottas and Riciardo. I was also really pleased to the the Hulk up at the sharp end. Plonker of the Race to Danil Kvyat. Smacked Arse of the Race to Kimi Raikkonen on the podium. When will he cheer up a bit? |

Kimi, kept pace with Lewis and had the beating of Seb, unlucky with the puncture. Certainly his best drive of the season

I agree with everything said about Lewis Hamilton, absolutely sublime ....
... in the car ... if only he did not get out of it at the end. |
