JohnnyBravo should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Clio's at Brands Hatch Pt.3

So what are the predictions for this weekends Clio encounter? The championship is very close at the top, but Rivett must feel pretty safe. I'm expecting a storming drive from Kirkaldy to make up for the last race where he was punted off by his team mate!

Oh, did you see their contretemps? I was watching from the middle of the circuit but they went out of sight at the critical moment and then only one reappeared.

I hear Kirkaldy also had a bit of a set-to with Mr Martin both on track and off coming into parc ferme ...

Yes apparently he did! I wasn't there but I do have a pretty close account of what happened, lets just say AK wasn't a very happy bunny after that!

So what'll happen,

Well for a start you can count out Paul Rivett for a win. He just needs to collect points, and he knows it.

Kirkaldy is quick but gets the red mist a bit too often.

Templeman will be quick, but not quick enough.

Byford's form is slipping.

Huff will again be the bridesmaid, wait till Donnington for his first win.

So It's gotta be Danny Buxton for the win.

Watch Eoin Murray, he's a dark horse for a podium.

Rivett, I'd imagine, will be happy to do what Jim Edwards Jnr did to win the Renault 5 GT Turbo title in 1990: try and stay behind his arch rival - that way, he can't take you out.

Anyone remember that race at Doningon? Jim and Mickey Allen tore off into the distance, with Jim making sure Allen stayed ahead. At one point, Allen slowed it down to almost 30mph down the Craners hoping Jim would 'slip by'.

Eventually he did, and, hey presto, as they reached Coppice, Jim just knew Allen was steaming up his inside to try and shove him off into the gravel. His sixth sense told him to jink left and Allen, not even attempting to brake, flew across his bows all locked up into the gravel.

Jim, now champion, almost coming to a standstill, calmly knocked selected second before accelerating away to celebrate his title with a win.

Not that I'm saying Rivett or Huff would try to take out Rivett. Someone else could always do that so he needs to play a very cool game. Odd things can happen around Brands Indy. It really is his to lose, though ...

Just how Jim remembers it (he was a bit supprised that anyone else did!!)

So Murray lost his first place - any idea why???

and was there oil at Graham Hill Bend or did Byford spin on cold tyres?
